If a person clicks on my affiliate link then later (within the cookie period) goes to the very same website by just filling in the websites name in a web browser and buys a product. Do I still get a commission?

That’s the thing about cookies, you do get paid as they haven’t expired

Semrush had cookie for 10 years, imagine getting that cookie expired.

You do get paid before the expiration right?

Paying has nothing to do with cookie, i am just saying if you refer someone to Semrush, for the next ten years if they subscribe you will earn.

Yes, you will if the cookie period is not too small.

Brother usually the cookie period is enough to confirm sales so he should not worry about that.

But some of the programs have a very low cookie period. For which we have to be worried if we are promoting them.

If he does that within the cookie period as you said, yes he will earn a commission.

Yes, you are right. Every product or program has its own cookie period. If someone bus with in that period then you will get commission otherwise you don't.

Brother, i think that every affiliate program should have minimum of 60 days of period for cookie.

Yeah, that's a pretty nice no of days as some customers took too long to think of buying a product.
