Firstly, Quora does not accept affiliate links (the link to the product you're promoting) but they accept links to your blog, landing page for your products or website. So to promote your affiliate link on Quora, you will have to go on Googlesites.com to create a free landing page for the product you're promoting, create a content that talks about the value of the product you wanna promote and paste the link there. Then you copy the link to that your page you created on googlesites.com and go on Quora and ask and answer questions related to the your niche on Googlesite.com and you can paste your Link to that niche in your answers. When they Click on it it will take them to your page you created and they will see your affiliate link there.
Your commission now is dependent on the sales you make and the sales you will make depends on the kind of product you're promoting because not every product gets sales easily.

You can monitor everything in the affiliate dashboard
You get a referral link which means there is code at the end of link which is a recognition of you. So whenever someone clicks that link affiliate system will track it.

You will get a commission when someone buys a product through your affiliate link. You can check that from your affiliate dashboard. Quora doesn't allow affiliate links. You need to use landing page.

When you post something on Quora, you provide the link of a website or a landing page that promotes the affiliate product. On that website there referral or affiliate link will be posted through which the customer will make the purchase and you will earn a commission. The affiliate link is not posted directly on Quora.

Whenever you sign up to be an affiliate with any platform, you will be required to enter your details for payment (for example, bank details or PayPal details) so that you will receive payment when its pay day.
Also don't promote your affiliate links directly on Quora. You will be banned. Instead create a landing page or blog.
