Cold Email experience and question on how to proceed

Hi Hassan,

I wish I found you a couple of weeks earlier.

Here is my situation, I set up FluentCRM using my shared hosting business email's SMTP, a month ago and began collecting emails for restaurants.  I started off slow not knowing that I had to warm up an email list and my open rates were around 50%, 60% range.  I also didn't know about email validation.  I ran a test on a list that I did not manually gather and my open rate dropped to around 10% max 13% and my bounce rate increased from almost 0 to 4% and unsubscribes also increased to about 2%.

After this test, my domain and my IP are showing to be on blacklists.

The domain was from my main site and I also have a couple of other domains on the same hosting.

My questions are:

1.  Do I need to start from scratch, purchase a new domain and switch my hosting provider to do cold emails again?

2.  Can I remove myself from the black lists, and just warm up my domain as you describe in your video for the Email Warmup Schedule Generator?

3.  I need help, would you help by mentoring me?

Hi friend, I prefer you start from scratch instead of removing the backlist. get a new domain for cold mailing, clean up, and start warming

Hi Hasan,

Thank you for your reply.

I had my domain now for two years and have been very careful not to destroy it.  I was preparing to sell it and remembered that I am using shared hosting.   So I ran a few more tests.

A domain test to see if it was on any black lists and a separate test to see if it was my IP address on the black lists.

I was only my IP address on the black list and not my domain names.

blacklisted IP
shared ip

Would it be safe to say that If I moved from my shared hosting to a VPS like you always suggest in your videos I will be able to keep my domain names?

All of my sites are running WordPress and I would just do a site migration to the VPS with a new IP Address should solve my issue with being on a black list.

With this additional information, I just want to get your opinion on the most economical way to move forward.

Thanks again.
