Is Email Marketing Effective?

Email marketing is based on sending emails to contacts or databases that may be or are your potential customers, for purely commercial purposes. With which we can say that its use is focused on getting new customers, retaining or even building loyalty. This is due to the fact that the end can be directed towards reporting news, increasing sales, confirming a purchase or shipment, increasing confidence in some type of product or service, etc.

Therefore, we can say that emailing or email marketing continues to be one of the channels and strengths of companies.

Emails can be of two types, occasional and automated. Within the first we find newsletters or informative bulletins and email campaigns focused on the sale, while in the second they are model emails after having carried out an activity by the user, purchase, subscription, etc…

Aspects to consider

To carry out an effective email marketing campaign, a series of aspects must be taken into account, such as:

 Professional design according to your brand. As in almost everything, quality matters more than quantity. It will be useless to show your products or report a topic when it is not readable. The trick is to use a template and adapt it to your business.
 Personalize your messages.
 Segment your contacts.
 Create a creative headboard. At the end of the day, one of the aspects that we usually take into account when opening an email is the title that we see before accessing the content.
 Add your logo. The visual identity of the company generates trust.
⦁ Attach the contact information so that the user can access it in a faster and easier way.
 Calls to action aimed at the objective we seek to achieve. They can be of three types, hyperlinks, images, or buttons.
Remember that the abusive use of images can slow down the opening of emails, especially on mobile devices.

email marketing can be great if the list of emails is targeted, but with random emails it will be just a waste of time.
