Many users are having difficulty in getting their Upwork account approval. Following are some tips on how one get it approved:
1) The account should not be created with the personal id but with that of your business one: it shows the seriousness of the user and is also professional.
2) Relate all the skills and capabilities you have: the account gets rejected if the combination of skills don't have any market scope.
3) Select around 4 services you can work for.
4) Select an appropriate experience level because the higher it is the more you get paid.
5) Allow Upwork to sometimes suggest you a rate: this is essential as you are going as per the platform's expectations and nothing below that.
6) Make sure that the title you add is not to unclear: make it specific so that the platform knows what kind of work will best suit you.
7) Add all the educational degrees you have
8) A little experience is also an experience: never assume that something little you did relating to freelancing won't be counted. State all the work you have done so far.
9) Add in other professional links of your business, be it on Facebook or Instagram.
10) Treat your account like your resume and keep updating it.

Many freelancers are afraid to try because Upwork is a bit strict when it comes to account approval. This information will help.

I was rejected many times on my Upwork application until I found a video on Youtube that teaches some work around on how your account can get approved immediately. I followed the very exact strategy and got approved right there and then. I forgot the title of the video but the guy is from India. Actually, whenever I am in search of answers especially technical matters, I really look for tutorials from YouTubers from India. They are just superb! ????
