Hello brother, now today shootouts are legit, they won't scam you it will work don't worry, now just some tips, so you can get the most out of  this account, first take a look at its like comparing it to the views, some account got 2k followers, and about 5k views per post, and only got 100 to 200 likes barely, this comparison shows the audience engagement of this account, you can find an account with 1k followers and 5k views per post, and about 500 to 600 likes, so it depend on the engagement, and if he got true audience, so when he will promote you, you can get the most number of engaged people possible to your account, and always let the person show you proof, of other people that he promote, and their feedback for more trust.

That is my advice for you and hope I was useful

If you are a beginner I don't recommend.

Start with quality content, build your audience using tips to make the IG algorithm works with your content.Study the process through Insights in IG.

Later on start paid promotion after building a solid content filled foundation on your platform.

@rimaz well I already have quite a bit of content and a little audience + I currently have some spare cash that I can invest so I think I'll do it anyways but thanks for the advice anyway.

@adilkhan it depends on the person who will be promoting. Is his audience related to your niche, how much is his engagement rate and many more.

Paid promotions are like native Instagram ads to some extent but there is risk. The guy who is promoting you will also matter, has his old promotion helped others?

@rimaz that i what i am trying to say. Why people start looking at ads and promotions. These things are for people who have some experience not for total beginners.

If he guaranteed that you will get 5k followers then followers may be hot followers because nobody (influencer) can say the exact number of followers you will get. I recommend you to tie up with genuine followers by checking their engagement rate on the Instagram page.
