How to make your articles as SEO friendly as possible?

First of all, you have to make sure your article's readability is the best it could be for your readers. By that, I mean everything from the way it's structured to the sentence length and using familiar vocabulary to proper segmentation and emphasis on the main points. 2nd of all, the SEO ranking to make sure it reaches as many people as possible.

There's a comprehensive list of things that you should completely optimize for your article to be as SEO friendly as possible, and they are:

  1. Your article's length: ultimately, your article should be within 2400 words. on average, 900 to 1000 words are ideal. Anything longer than that would be deemed hard to read, and your SEO ranking will suffer, or it will need to be optimized in other areas to make up for this.
  2. Keyphrase density: Your keyphrase is usually the primary concern of your article. Let's assume that the keyphrase is SEO Ranking. Your key phrase should be included in the title. Also, your key phrase should be present in the article's meta description and your slug title. Make sure to mention it in the introduction, subheadings, body paragraphs, and even in the images' alt-text attributes.
  3. Your title width: Depending on where you're posting your article, either on your blog or on a host website, there's usually a limited number of words that the readers can see before accessing an article. It would be best to make your title within the word limit so that your readers can see the full title on display without having to access the article to do so.
  4. Images and image alt attributes: A good article typically makes good use of whatever images help illustrate its purpose. So, having scattered a bunch of attractive photos, you should add alt attributes. Alt attributes are embedded in your images and describe their content and purpose. This would help show your pictures to people who have entered relevant keywords in search engines, increasing the likeability of your article being found.
  5. Outbound and Internal links: including outbound links that lead to other sources, such as when referencing or even referring readers to your other content such as YouTube videos, increases your SEO ranking. Also, referring to your other articles (internal links) boosts your ranking.

Depending on the platform you are using to write your articles, there usually are tools that you can use to keep all these points in check. For instance, if you're using Wordpress, there's a plugin called Yoast that's free to use. With Yoast, you can guarantee that your article is as SEO-friendly as possible.
