This mainly can be caused by two things:
1- PowerMta web monitor service problem: try restarting the powermta web monitor service using the following command:
service pmtahttp restart
2- Firewall problem: the web monitor port that you set in the config file usually (1983) is blocked by the firewall, so try turning off the firewall completely or add a rule to allow the port.
Command to add a firewall rule:
firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=1983/tcp --permanent
*Note: if you changed the default port number change it in the firewall command
Then restart the pmtahttpservice again.
