I was able to successfully install Postal SMTP on my VPS (gotten from Contabo). I tested the server on SMTPer.net after i finished and the Postal installation.
But when i wanted to connect the mail server to a mailing application (Maxbulkmailer) it didn't connect. Tried it severally, but all efforts failed.
So I headed over to an online mailing application (Pabbly) to try connecting the mail server to their email sending platform, the email server didn't connect too and it responded with this error message below:
- Delivery Sever Error: The following recipients failed: mail@easyprowork.xyz
SMTP server error: 5.7.1 relaying denied for recipient in "RCPT TO:" - Looks like your credentials is invalid or blocked. Please contact to your SMTP service provider.
Also when i validated (using H-supertools email validator) the email I used to set-up my postal SMTP (mail@easyprowork.xyz)... the validator responded with a message that my email is a "Bounce email"
Please help suggest any thing I need to look at again.
P.S: on my Postal mail server dashboard, all the DNS records were all ticked green, showing they were okay.
How are you connecting? Are you using port 25?
