Postal SMTP IP Pools configuration in [/etc/network/interfaces] V.IMP

Hi Hasan,

I am trying to configure my 2nd virtual SMTP Server in Postal with additional IP from Contabo.

First I configured additional IP in /etc/network/interfaces file.

After that, I enabled IP Pools from the postal.yml file, add different IPs to different Pools with Hostname, assign IP Pools to Organisation, and assign both IP Pools to different virtual SMTPs.

My mail-tester sending score is 10/10 with primary IP.

Now the main problem is that I can send emails from the virtual SMTP Server with the default IP (SMTP 1) but cannot send emails for virtual SMTP with additional IP (SMTP 2). Don't know why. Emails from SMTP 2 are just queued and are not sending. I think the is any mistake in the /etc/network/interfaces file.

You didn't show any test in the course after creating IP Pools. Plz update your Postal + Mautic Course.

Plz, help me out with this problem.

Thanks

Hi friend, did you try pining the IP first to ensure that your network configuration is correct?

Friend, if you are following a premium course, open your questions there, the support team will follow up with you. its better than waiting here 2-3 days per week.
