Grammar is a huge problem everyone faces when it comes to writing. Also, spelling and unsuitable words can make writing a mess. Is normal spell check can rescue us from this great misery or we need other help. Let’s begin to talk Grammarly vs spell check.
When we are writing, a normal spell check studies our spelling mistakes and helps us to correct them but it doesn’t correct our grammar mistakes. This is a massive Impediment to Success. Ok, now what will we do? This is the place Grammarly comes in.
What is Grammarly?
Grammarly is an American-based technology company that offers a digital writing assistance tool based on artificial intelligence and natural language processing. This tool has both free and paid plans as an extension and plugins to Microsoft office and windows.
This is a brief description of Grammarly.
Max Lytvyn, Alex Shevchenko, and Dmytro Lider founded Grammarly in 2009 with the goal of helping people communicate more effectively. Focusing first on supporting students’ grammar and spelling through a subscription-based product, they soon saw the potential of how Grammarly could help in all circumstances — from professional writing to everyday correspondence. Over the next ten years, Grammarly grew the capabilities of an AI-powered writing assistant to go way beyond grammar and spelling into complex aspects of language and communication.
Today Grammarly offers an intuitive, real-time interface that’s there for people wherever they type, through browser extensions, a web-based editor, a Microsoft Office add-in, a desktop interface, and mobile keyboards. A free version of our assistant, introduced in 2015, ensures that anyone who needs to communicate in English has access to essential writing support. For businesses, they rolled out an enterprise product to support consistent professional communication on workplace teams. Their growth and further investment in cutting-edge language research have been helped along by more than $200 million in funding, led by General Catalyst.
